I saw a meme once that said, “Men in their 40’s need to choose one of two paths: Either you need to get big into bushcraft or birding.” I chose the later, I guess. I never set out to be a birder. Or to photographer birds, for that matter. We sold our house in the neighborhood and moved into the woods. So naturally I started taking photos of things around me. And we have a lot of birds.
